SUS316Ti stainless steel has strong resistance to intergranular corrosion,316Ti is essentially 316 with the addition of some titanium(Ti) to reduce the risk of losing corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zone. An alternative to prevent this, is to reduce the carbon(C) level, which results in the grade 316L.
